20th April 1999:
- The latest AMUC newsletter, issue #146, is now online.
21st March 1999:
- We're baaack. Actually, this is just the old site which I'll probably spend a little
time overhauling. To see the current AMUC homepage, wander over to www.amuc.ab.ca
where it officially lies. If you have any comments or suggestion, please email me
at adamh@spots.ab.ca. Thanks!
- Also new is the most recent collection of disk newsletter articles (138-145). You can find
those by bravely navigating the links, or by quickly going there via here.
2nd January 1998:
- Elections are coming up in February so please run for the available positions.
We need you (no kidding.) It's a *club*, not a service so volunteers are what
keeps AMUC afloat. If no one does anything, there's no club.
- We may be losing access to the website for a little while as we've not renewed the
SPOTS account yet so they'll pull our access shortly. That means we'll be unable
to update the pages at all, not that it's made much difference recently.
However, we suspect that the web pages will be left accessible until we do
renew...somewhere. In the mean time, call the AMUC Infoline at 244-6990 or read
the Calgary Herald's Computer Calendar for current details.
- Run AMUCs? What Run AMUCs?
- These aren't available via the website since we're cutting them on a one by one
basis, but AMUC CDs 7,8 and 9 are now out. If you'd like to buy them as a three
set, it's CDN$25 including shipping and handling. Please contact me at
adamh@spots.ab.ca to arrange payment
details. AMUC members get them for a bit less...
- We also still do bulk purchases. Most recently we bought a fair amount of the
Cloanto Amiga Forever UAE packs. We don't have any left, but if you can come
up with another item to purchase that catches a few AMUCcers' fancy, we want
to hear from you.
- Our commiserations to long term AMUCcer, Lowell Lindenbach, who was injured in
a car crash recently. Lowell is one of the two people who look after this
web site as well as the editor of the paper Run AMUC newsletter. Hope you get
better soon, Lowell.
1st October 1997:
- The Member's Page has been updated to include homepage
links to members we don't have photos of. If you're an AMUC member and would like to
have a link on the page, send email to adamh@spots.ab.ca.
We can also host (small) homepages for AMUC members.
- Yes, I know the Run AMUC's are way behind schedule. Sorry about that. I'll try to have the remainder of this
year's isuses up by Christmas...

how to connect up your Amiga and PC, demonstrating the Aminet CDs and maybe even a little hardware
installation! As usual we'll also be answering questions people have about the Amiga and its software as
well as are usual software sale/swap. See you there.
